A 1930’s detached that needed updating and furnishing to create an inviting and family friendly home.

With a possible extension in the future we decided to keep the existing kitchen cabinetry. We updated the kitchen by respraying all cabinetry in a warm grey, installed custom roman blinds and replaced the cabinetry hardware and countertops.

The kitchen island was originally two-tiered. We removed the tier to create an open plan feel.  Removing an outdated gas fireplace in the living room and installing a built in media unit with cabinetry in both alcoves created a family-friendly living room that is beautiful as well as functional. Phase II (rest of living room and master bedroom) completing in Early 2019.
